The Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) 2022 Workshop in Nha Trang with the theme “Marine Warriors” brings together 100 young leaders from 10 ASEAN countries and Timor-Leste.
GreenHub is a professional support unit, incorporate with World Learning and Nha Trang University, to build the YSEALI program in Nha Trang under the sponsorship of the U.S. Department of State, providing knowledge, solutions and experiences about marine environmental issues globally and in a central coastal region of Vietnam for the “Young Leaders” of the YSEALI Program.
The workshop aims to increase understanding of environmental degradation due to plastic pollution, acidification, ocean warming and fisheries management in the form of case studies applicable to the ASEAN region through practice activities including leadership-building sessions by interacting with mentors, team, expert presentations; enhancing problem-solving skills; participating in field trips, and game jam.
Standing by a program that brings many opportunities for young people from all over Southeast Asia to learn and contribute to protecting the marine environment, GreenHub is proud to be a professional consultant, providing information and knowledge, introducing waste management solutions with operating experience in our project areas.
We always try to provide the best conditions for “Young Leaders” to explore and find new methods to cope with climate change and environmental issues, and light up the enthusiasm in promoting reduced environmental pollution to each individual.
The event has the participation of many speakers who are advisors, experts, in different fields around the world. The speakers together with “Young Leaders” shared and exchanged hot topics on the environment at the current time to provide solutions from the perspective of varied countries and cultures.
