This year, VR CO.,LTD was selected to participate in the 3rd year of component 2 “Supporting business enterprises to create social impact in the agricultural value chain” of the EFD project sponsored by Oxfam Novib and GSRD funds and is made possible through a partnership between Oxfam in Vietnam, Centre for Social Initiatives Promotion (CSIP) and the Centre for Supporting Green Development (GreenHub), with the aim of supporting businesses small and medium agribusiness improve business management and pursue sustainable agricultural production methods.

Moreover, we will learn more about the desire and need to participate in the Enterprise Support component of the EFD project, towards solutions for sustainable, transparent and natural development!
Construction and development of Viet Roselle Manufacturing And Trading Co.,Ltd:
Since 1987, from a pharmaceutical research center under the Central Pharmaceutical Company 2, over 3 decades and development, Viet Roselle Manufacturing And Trading Co.,Ltd has continuously developed, created community values. With its efforts, the Enterprise has risen to become a leading private company in the conservation, farming, production and processing of medicinal herbs in Vietnam.
VR CO.,LTD owns a closed chain with a total area of up to 10 hectares, optimally serving the supply of raw materials, including:
- 5000 m2 conservation garden and 800 m2 nursery, serving the conservation and propagation of medicinal herbs
- Designed according to Vietnamese (VietGAP) and international standards (GACP-WHO, GSP-WHO, GMP-WHO, GLP-WHO) in areas: Planting area, Storage, Extraction-Spray-drying line.
- 1.5 ha of drying yard helps to process 6-8 tons of medicinal herbs per day.
- Modern laboratory, operating according to GLP-WHO standards to help control quality.
Certificate:
- In 2018, VR CO.,LTD obtained the Certificate of Food Safety Management.
- In 2020, VR CO.,LTD has obtained the GACP-WHO certificate (“Good farming and harvesting practice” of the WHO).
At the present time, the Covid epidemic is becoming more and more complicated, making all work and plans more stagnant and difficult than ever. With its headquarters located in Ho Chi Minh City – one of the hot spots for the epidemic at the moment – VR CO.,LTD is also partly affected. However, not only businesses adapt to the times, using online software to serve the management process, but VR CO.,LTD also provides free support for Xuyen Tam Lien Tea for F0 patients and others in the community. High-risk epidemic areas in Phu Yen (600 people) and Ho Chi Minh City (1400 people).
