📍 On October 27, GreenHub, in collaboration with the People's Committee of Lam Dong Commune, with sponsorship and co-implementation from Damen Song Cam Shipyard Co., Ltd., sent 50 compost bins and compost pit covers to households in the commune after a two-month pilot project in Hầu Village. This marks a new milestone in the "Lam Dong Zero Waste" project, assisting residents to convert food waste into organic fertilizer, reduce pressure on waste processing systems, and support sustainable agriculture development.

📍 According to the "Assessment Report on the Current Status of Solid Waste Management in Lam Dong Commune" (November 2023) by GreenHub, food waste accounts for up to 50% of the total waste in the commune. With the new compost bins, residents will not only reduce waste volume but also turn organic waste into valuable resources, contributing to clean agriculture and environmental protection.

💚 Recycling Waste for Green Gifts - On the same morning, the "For a Zero Waste Lam Dong" Club organized the "Recycling Waste for Green Gifts" activity, which attracted a large number of residents. This is a regular activity aimed at raising awareness about waste sorting and reducing single-use plastic.

Mr. Pham Dinh Thinh, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Commune People’s Committee, spoke at the event: "Through this project, the people of Lam Dong Commune are not only raising awareness about environmental protection and waste management but also being supported in implementing pilot models that suit the local needs. The project's support in providing compost bins will help turn waste into valuable resources, promote agriculture, improve the environment, and encourage more residents to participate in effective and sustainable waste management."
