Earth Day (April 22) and World Environment Day (June 5) events attracted large participation, strongly spreading messages on plastic reduction and sustainable lifestyles. Simultaneously, the "Lam Dong Market Restricts Plastic Bags" model was launched, along with community communication activities such as mural painting, radio broadcasting, and the installation of communication posters.

The project "Pilot Model of Circular Economy in Waste Management at Lam Dong Commune", also known as the "Zero Waste Lam Dong" project, has been developed and implemented from August 2023 to March 2025 by the Center for Supporting Green Development (GreenHub) and the People's Committee of Hoang Lam Ward (formerly Lam Dong Commune People’s Committee), with the sponsorship and co-implementation of Damen Song Cam Shipbuilding Company Limited (DSCS). The project aims to reduce the amount of waste going to landfills or leaking into the environment through a public-private partnership in waste management.
