Facing the situation of pollution caused by waste occurring in many places, spreading over many different large and small scales, the “Zero-waste” is developed with the aim of not letting waste go to landfills, incinerators, or oceans. These efforts are based on the principle of focusing on preventing waste, encouraging the recycling of resources so that all products are reused, making this way become more and more popular in Vietnam particularly and around the world in general.
Vietnam Zero Waste Alliance (VZWA) was established for a sustainable Vietnam. By specific actions such as Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Redesign, Manage waste management… VZWA spreads the green lifestyle of Zero-waste, helps young people to improve their awareness of the future environment.
After more than 4 years of establishment and development, with the active participation of a large number of members, in order to mark the past journey, to share information, achievements, lessons, and discuss operational strategies of the org, as well as develop the Alliance of Zero waste schools and more (ZHub), GreenHub cooperates with VZWA, Genesis Schools to organize events: Vietnam Zero Waste Annual Meeting 2021 – Zero Waste School Festival
