Description:
The project aims to reduce waste and its impacts on the environment and society, especially plastic and single-use plastic waste, by promoting zero-waste practices in Dak Lak province. The project will promote behavioral change in schools, public agencies, tourism and waste management, while enhancing knowledge and experience sharing within the Vietnam Zero Waste Network and building the capacity of women non-public waste collectors in reducing plastic pollution. These efforts will contribute towards Dak Lak province's long-term goal of a circular economy with the rate of reuse and recycling of waste reaching 70-80% and reducing landfill waste to less than 30% by 2030.
