Announcing Goethe Institut Science Film Festival 2021

Held since 2005, the Science Film Festival (SFF) is an annual event organized by the Goethe-Institut. The event is organized with the aim of raising awareness and understanding of science, technology and environmental issues, through films and accompanying educational activities.

In 2021, the Science Film Festival received 287 films from international TV channels and film producers. In which, 122 films from 22 countries were selected to be introduced to the public. With the theme “Better understanding for better health”, this year’s Science Film Festival’s theme focuses on the fields of health, mental health and the environment – factors that are of more concern than ever in the context of reality during the Covid-19 pandemic.

GreenHub is honored to be one of four social organizations in Vietnam, co-organizing the events of Science Film Festival 2021 – SFF 21 held from October 15, 2021 to December 24, 2021. in the project areas: Phu Yen, Hanoi and Hai Phong. At the press conference, Ms. Tran Thi Hoa – Director of the Centre for Supporting Green Development (GreenHub) shared a presentation on cooperation and diffusion: ” GreenHub encourages and develops innovative Vietnamese citizens. Understanding and being responsible for their living and learning about the environment is one of the major aims that GreenHub has established and included into the Film Festival’s program this year in collaboration with the Goethe-Institute this year.”
