The Conference to summarize the implementation of the project ” Empowering Women In The Plastic Waste Recycling Value Chain” taking place on August 30, 2022, is the official event to close the Women’s Plastic Reduction Project (Gender x Plastic) in Phú Yên province after nearly 1 year of implementation.
As a co-organizer of the Conference with the Women’s Union of Phú Yên province, GreenHub is proud to witness first-hand the impact of the project on the role and contribution of women in solid waste management and plastic waste.
The conference attracted the participation of informal collectors from districts and towns – the direct beneficiaries of the project. Speakers participating in the conference came from coordinating support units including: GreenHub, Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Department of Labour, Veterans and Social Affairs and Phú Yên Provincial Women’s Union.
At the Conference, representatives of GreenHub shared the results that the project has achieved in the past 1 year. In addition, the participants also listened to interesting sharing from women informal collectors about the benefits that the project has brought them.
The conference is within the framework of the project “Women reduce plastic waste” implemented by GreenHub in Tuy Hòa, Phú Yên, sponsored by The Incubation Network, and coordinated by Second Muse.
