Become an “inspirational person” with GreenHub with just one story?
You don’t have to do something big or bring in supernatural powers to change the world, maybe with just your little story, you can move so many readers’ hearts? With the desire to bring a playground where students can unleash their creativity and tell their stories around the issue of plastic waste, daily practices to reduce waste or new forms recycling plastic waste,… GreenHub launched the “Green School – Blue Ocean” contest within the framework of Plastic Solution Fund project implemented by Center for Supporting Green Development – GreenHub, sponsored and accompanied by DOW Viet Company. South and Pacific Environment Organization.
CONTEST RULES AND REGULATION:
Topic: On the issue of plastic waste, including methods that can be practiced every day, innovations to recycle plastic waste, volunteer activities or perspectives, assessment of the current state of plastic waste
Submission requirements:
The contest consists of 2 parts: Images and Articles expressing the topic of the contest
- Pictures: 6-8 photos (jpg format)
- Article: Maximum length 450 – 500 words (Word format)

- Share the post in Public status

*Note: When submitting an entry, it is required to provide these information:
- Team name/Individual name;
- Information about group members or individuals participating in the competition, including gender, age, school, class;
- Submission’s name.
Targeted Participant: All high school students in Phu Yen province. The contest accepts both collective and individual forms (maximum 05 people/group).
Contest Agenda:
- October 8, 2020 – October 17, 2020: Launch of the contest – Start accepting applications
- October 18, 2020 – October 19, 2020: Posting entries – Starting to calculate online voting scores
- October 21, 2020: Announcement of 04 teams to the Final Round
- October 24, 2020: Organizing the Final Round at Phu Yen Province Ethnic Minority Boarding High School
Scoring System:
For the Preliminary Round:
50% based on online voting, 50% based on the evaluation of BGK
- 1 reaction (like, heart, haha,….) = 1 point
- 1 comment/review = 2 points (each account is only counted once)
- 1 share = 2 points (each account is only counted once)
- 1 account can perform all 3 methods above and accumulate points
After the deadline for entry submissions, the organizers will upload the entries to the album “Green School – Blue Ocean Competition” at 19:00 on October 18, 2020. Votes are only counted from the time of uploading the album to 19:00 on October 19, 2020.
Prizes:
The 04 teams that make it to the Final Round will all have the opportunity to receive:
- 01 set of environmentally friendly green products;
- Award certificate for each individual;
- The cost of supporting the test implementation process corresponds to the value and meaning that each test brings.
