Joining us at Nguyen Du Primary & Secondary School, situated on Nguyen Tat Thanh Boulevard in Phu Yen province, for the next stop in the trash audit tour of five schools.
The first impressions of the school came from the enthusiastic teachers who worked closely with GreenHub throughout the audit process.
Along with GreenHub’s audit team, young auditors consisting of just 20 students in grades 8 and 9, took advantage of the breaktime to audit the waste. In spite of this, they made a concerted attempt to accomplish the assignment in a timely manner. After the audit, the students returned to school and continued to be attentive students.
Sharing from Nguyen Tran Khoi Chuong: “The first day, because I dislocated my arm, I couldn’t support them much, but because the rest of the friends participated enthusiastically, I felt that I needed to make efforts to participate, join in to learn and support them to successfully complete the audit process.”
Through the above sharing, we can see how the efforts of the students of Nguyen Du Primary & Secondary School are clearly shown, right?
Right! The efforts will always be rewarded for the children’s work, no matter how small, but it will be an indispensable piece in the process of building the School of Zero Waste in Phu Yen Province.
The activity is included in the Action Plan No. 39 issued on October 18, 2021, between the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, the Department of Education and Training, and the International Union for Conservation of Nature of Vietnam on implementing the model Zero Waste School in Phu Yen. GreenHub directly coordinates the implementation with the role of a technical consultant.
