In order to raise people’s awareness about the impact of plastic waste on the environment, and promote people’s awareness and responsibility in managing plastic waste, For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF), Vietnam Zero Waste Alliance (VZWA), and the Centre for Supporting Green Development (GreenHub) organize a contest to collect photos of plastic waste – “PlasPics Hunter“.
CONTESTANT
Individuals or groups (no more than 3 people) of all ages, regardless of nationality, currently living in Vietnam, interested in environmental protection and reducing plastic waste.
FORMAT
Entries are digital photos, saved in JPG/JPEG/PNG format, minimum size 2MB, minimum file size is 2000×3000 pixels, resolution 300 dpi. Photos must not be photoshopped to change the layout, do not border, and do not place any identifiers on the image. Photos that do not conform to the above rules will be disqualified without notice. The works should have descriptive content (no more than 300 words)
When taking photos for the contest, you need to turn on the phone’s location. For photos taken with a digital camera, an additional photo must be taken with a phone with location-enabled (it will only be used to verify location, not for the contest).
No limit on photos. However, if you submit more than one photo, you need to fill out an additional application. Do not submit multiple in one application.
PRIZE
- 01 First Prize: VND 5,000,000 (five million VND), 01 Instax camera, 01 film box, gift set from the Organizing Committee, and certificate of participation.
- 02 Second prizes: 3,000,000 VND (three million VND), 01 Instax camera, gift set from the Organizing Committee, and certificate of participation.
- 02 Third prizes: 1,500,000 VND (one million five hundred thousand VND), gift set from the Organizing Committee, and certificate of participation.
- 03 Consolation prizes: 1,000,000 VND (one million VND), gift set from the Organizing Committee, and certificate of participation.
- 01 Favorite prize: 1,000,000 VND (one million VND), gift set from the Organizing Committee, Certificate of participation.
In particular, the winning products will be posted in the media and environmental publications of the stakeholders.
EXPECTED TIMELINE
- Time to receive entries: April 22 – May 22, 2022
- Voting for the most popular photo round: May 25 – May 31, 2022
- Result announcement: June 1, 2022
- Awarding: 05/06/2022
