Project Title: Turning for Zero Plastic waste in Dak Lak

Location: Dak Lak Province

Duration: September 2025 – April 2028

Donor Organization: Pacific Environment Vietnam

Description:

This project aims to reduce waste and its environmental and social impacts particularly plastic waste and single-use plastics by promoting zero waste practices across Dak Lak Province. The initiative will encourage behavioral change in schools, public institutions, the tourism sector, and local waste management systems. It will also enhance knowledge exchange within the Vietnam Zero Waste Alliance and strengthen the capacity of Women Informal Waste Workers (WIWWs) in reducing plastic pollution. Through these efforts, the project contributes to Dak Lak’s long-term vision of a circular economy, targeting 70–80% waste reuse and recycling, and reducing landfill disposal to below 30% by 2030.
