🙋‍♀️[WELCOME NEW MEMBERS TO THE ZAST-Free SCHOOL TEAM]♻️

Recently, on March 18, 2024, the Center for Supporting Green Development (GreenHub) and Bạch Đằng Primary School officially held a signing ceremony to formalize their partnership in implementing and maintaining the Zero Waste School model at Bạch Đằng Primary School.

Bạch Đằng Primary School is located in Tân Bình District, Ho Chi Minh City. With a strong commitment to educating students about environmental protection from an early age, the school has already introduced activities related to waste sorting and the collection of recyclable materials. However, the school has faced certain challenges in implementing and maintaining these activities due to limited experience in environmental education.

After learning about the program through social media, the school proactively reached out to the Zero Waste School and More (ZHub) program of GreenHub to explore opportunities for collaboration. The two parties discussed potential activities related to environmental education, waste sorting practices, and waste reduction in schools. Following this exchange and a period of consultation, both sides agreed to establish a one-year partnership for the 2024–2025 period.

Following the signing ceremony, the GreenHub team from the ZHub program will conduct a field visit and work with Bạch Đằng Primary School to begin implementation activities. Key activities include a Knowledge, Attitude, and Practice (KAP) survey involving all students, teachers, and staff members, as well as a five-day waste audit conducted on campus.

Through the ZHub program, Bạch Đằng Primary School is expected to make significant progress in environmental education, waste sorting, and waste reduction practices, moving closer to the goal of becoming a Zero Waste School.

This activity is part of the Zero Waste School and More (ZHub) program, developed by the Center for Supporting Green Development (GreenHub) and primarily funded by H&M Hennes & Mauritz Vietnam Co., Ltd.
