The "One-Hour Cleanup – A Clean and Beautiful Cần Giờ" campaign was organized by the Cần Giờ District Department of Natural Resources and Environment in collaboration with Ocean Conservancy, Vietnam Women’s Trade Joint Stock Company, and GreenHub.

The campaign aimed to take collective action for a clean and beautiful ocean while raising awareness among Cần Giờ residents about environmental protection and reducing waste pollution.

The campaign took place in Cần Thạnh Town, Cần Giờ District, with the participation of 85 people, including representatives from the Cần Giờ Department of Natural Resources and Environment, the People's Committee of Cần Thạnh Town, Vietnam Women’s Trade Joint Stock Company, GreenHub, and local households.

At the end of the activity, volunteers collected 110kg of waste from the beach, including 23 bags, 30kg of plastic waste, 5kg of paperboard, and 25 aluminum cans. These efforts contributed to spreading awareness among Cần Giờ residents about protecting the environment and restoring the ocean to its natural, waste-free state.
