🌊 On the morning of June 5, 2026, at Long Thuy Beach (Binh Kien Ward), the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee launched the “Clean Up the Coastline” campaign, marking the beginning of a province-wide series of activities under the theme “Joining Hands for a Cleaner Environment.” The initiative was organized in celebration of World Environment Day (June 5), World Oceans Day (June 8), and Vietnam Sea and Islands Week 2026. The event brought together provincial leaders, government agencies, armed forces, youth unions, and local residents.

🏅 As part of the event, the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee held the first-ever Provincial Environmental Awards Ceremony. At the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Bao Han, Project Coordinator at GreenHub, was honored as one of only seven outstanding individuals and organizations to receive this prestigious award. The recognition celebrates exceptional contributions to environmental protection and sustainable development across the province.

🌱 The launch event also featured a range of meaningful environmental activities, including waste exchange programs where hazardous waste, broken electronic components, and other recyclable materials could be exchanged for plants at multiple locations. In addition, communities across all 102 communes and wards of the province mobilized for large-scale clean-up campaigns aimed at eliminating illegal dumping sites and improving local environmental conditions.
